Special Meeting of Village Council
August 18, 1970 -- 7:30 P. M.
Meeting called to order by James Maus, acting mayor, at 7:30 P. M.
Councilmen Franz Swanberg, 'J,'illiam Sandberg, Richard Martie and
James Maus were in attendance. Ron Schleif arrived at ?:50 P. M.
First order of business was the opening of bids for the proposed new
well. Bids received were as follows:

Layne Minnesota was apparent low bidder.
Motion by James Maus, seconded by Franz Swanberg that Layne Minnesota
bid of $11,530.00 be accepted subject to review by the engineer to
verify that bid is in order. Voting in favor: Maus, Swanberg, Sand-
berg, Martie and Schleif.
