Purpose of the meeting called by J~mes Maus was to determine
the needs of the parks to put. them in good o..r.der. Each member
of the Park Board offered comnlain sand sup;gest'tons for im-
provement. They are as follows:
1. Irrigation water pu~p acro s river from Ellison Park
is very noisy.
2. Park cleanliness could be mproved. The grounds and
especially the rest rooms.
3. Poor method of weed ki1lin resulted in unsightly con-
ditions.
4. Garbage pickup should be m de three~mes a week.....
Monday morning, Thursday a d Saturday.
5. Obtain a park superintende or park attendant for the
summer months....May throu September.
6. Arrange for periodic insec spraying.
7. Arrange for trash cans and benches at the ball park
on East 4th Street.
