Special meeting of village Council and Planning Commission, June 29,
7:00 P. M.
Present: Ron Schleif, Richard Martie, Walter Markling, William
Sandberg, James Maus __ all councilmen present. Present: Fred
Topel, Robert Davis, Tarry Flake, Jay. Miller, Father P. Gearty.
Absent: Grant Schleif, Dale Lungwitz. Also present: Bill Elliott,
Birkland, Mever & Roblin; Charles Tooker, Planner; Lee Starr,
Beckman & Swenson, Planning Associates.
Ron Schleif called meeting to order at 7:10 P. M. for purpose of
hearing final report of planning under Federal 701 Planning Grant
completed June 30, 1971.
Minutes of previous meeting approved as mailed on motion by Rich_
and Martie and seconded by James Maus.
Robert Davis introduced discussion on 701 planning grant. Charles
Tooker proceeded with progress explanation.
Council discussed recommendation of Planning Commission regarding
future planning. Decision to be deferred until July 6th special
meeting.
Motion by James Maus, second by Richard Martie to adjourn. So
ordered.
