Special meeting of village Council -- July 25, 1972 -- 7:30 P. M.
Meeting called to order by William Sandberg, mavor. Councilmen
present: Blonigen, Rowan, Martie, Markling. Absent: None.
Thore Meyer re-oorted on verification of bids taken July 24th.
Motion by Richard Martie, seconded by Dan Blonigen to reject Buffalo
Bituminous bid because of admitted error in bidding. Carried --
all in favor.
Motion by Walter darkling, seconded by Richard. Yartie to accept bid
from Nardrives, Inc., St. Cloud, deducting 110,000 for trench com-
paction leaving a net bid of 119,092.00. Carried -- all in favor.
Motion by '-`ralter Markl.ing, seconded by Jeff Rowan to accept Bridge_
water Telenhone Company's offer of $21,332.00 and release Bridge-
water of liability of restoration of Cedar St. and 3rd Street.
Carried __ all in favor.
Motion by Jeff Rowan, seconded. by Dan Blonigen to authorize the
mayor and clerk to sign contract with Slurry Kotte Service for
surfacing other streets. In favor: Sandberg, Rowan, Blonigen.
Against: Martie, Markling. Carried.
Thore Meyer instructed to determine procedure for assessment on
storm sewer installed on walnut, Locust, Third and Parking lot on
Block _53.
Motion by Dan Blonigen, second by Jeff Rowan to adjourn. So ordered.
