RESOLUTION NO. 2018-32
ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE FIBERNET FACILITY
RELOCATION FOR THE FALLON AVENUE OVERPASS PROJECT
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids to relocate FiberNet facilities for the
Fallon Avenue Overpass project. Bids were received, opened, and tabulated, and the following
bids were found to comply with the advertisement for bids:

WHEREAS, the bid of $150,564.91 by Michels Power for the relocation of FiberNet
facilities in accordance with the approved plans and specifications and advertisement for bids, is
the lowest responsible bidder and shall be and hereby is accepted.
NO W THEREFORE, BE IT HEREB Y RESOL VED B Y THE CITY CO UNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MONTICELLO:
1. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a
contract with said bidder for the relocation of facilities for and on behalf of the City of
Monticello.
2. The City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all
bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposit of the successful bidder
and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been executed.
