City Council Minutes 12-14-1972 SpecialVILLAGE OF MONTICELLO Monticello, Minnesota 55362 Phone (612) 295-2711 December 14, 1972 Special meeting of Village Council, December 140 1972, to discuss Storm Sewer Assessment Roll, #E7010A and Block 53 Assessment. The special meeting of the Village Council wascalled to order at 7:30 P. M., Thursday, December 14, 1972 by Acting Mayor Dan Blonigen. Members present: Blonipen, Markling, Martie and Rowan. Mayor Bill Sandberg was absent - on vacation. The purnese of the meeting was to pass upon the proposed assessment for the improvement of the following listed areas within the Village of Monticello, Minnesota: 1. Blocks 17, 18, 119 329 359 369 37 and 53, Monticello Vi7.lape Plat, and 2. All that area south of the Creat Northern Railroad, west of Cedar Street and Wripht County Road Number 117, east of Elm Street and Elm Street extended to the south and Interstate Highway Number 94 by the construction of Storm Sewer Outlet Trunk. The proposed area to be assessed is the above described areas. The total cost of the improvement is $85,082.57• Unfinished business conducted: Approval of liquor discount bills and payment of police contract. Motion to approve bill payments was made by Dick Martie, seconded by Jeff Rowan. Voting in favor: Blonigen, Markling, Martie and Rowan. Opposed: None. Absent: Sandberg. A resolution to adopt the proposed assessment was delayed until Bill Elliott of the engineering firm of Meyer-Rohlin has had time to discuss and decide on individual questions raised by village property owners affected. The motion to adjourn was made by Dick Martie, seconded by Jeff Rowan. Voting in favor: Blonigen, Markling, Martie and Rowan. Opposed: None. Absent: Sandberg. So ordered at 9:4.5 P. M.
