AND DECLARIN THE RESULTS
(Novembe 3, 1998)
WHEREAS, the Deputy City Clerk has duly pres nted to the City Council the summary
statement of ballots voted in the November 3, 199 , Municipal Election; and
WHEREAS, said statement has been sworn to by he Judges of the Election; and

MONTICELLO that the totals listed above are de med to be correct, the election is deemed to be
valid, and the official winners of the election are d clared to be as follows:

For Mayor (2-year term): Roge Belsaas
BE IT ALSO RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL F THE CITY OF MONTICELLO that the
question of allowing the City Council to issue six n-sale licenses for the sale of intoxicating
liquor at retail in excess of the number now permi ted by law is hereby declared approved.
